Drafted 210th overall by Detroit in 1999, Henrik Zetterberg would become a mainstay in HockeyTown, spending his entire 15-year NHL career with the Red Wings and serving as team captain his final six (6) seasons. Helping the Wings to a Stanley Cup championship in 2008 in which he also captured the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoffs MVP, offered here is this stick used by Zetterberg during the 2014-15 season, specifically on December 19th, 2014 on home ice against the New York Islanders. A Warrior Covert QR1 model with "Zetterberg" factory graphics over the upper shaft while a stamp reading “85 T3LR” is found on the underside of the shaft along with the factory barcode stickers and additional graphics reading "1 24 BEAST". Retaining “Z’s” original tape job of tacky white cloth over the handle/knob that has had his number "40" penned to the top in black marker ink, black has been wrapped around the blade while Henrik has signed over the heel area with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue. Having added an inscription reading "2014 Game Used VS NYI" in matching ink alongside his autograph, the stick displays with overall light-to-moderate game-wear via marks and abrasions over the length of the shaft, lower shaft, heel and toe while both sides of the blade tape also show marks as well.
