Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
Regarded by many to this day as the greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates, the name Gordie Howe is synonymous with the game loved and played by so many across the world. In a career that spanned over five different decades from 1946-71 and 1973-80, fans and players alike will still find Howe’s name near the top of the all-time leaderboards all these years later. Still one of the most desirable signatures in the hobby, offered here is this sheet of twelve (12) gorgeous autographs penned by the man they call "Mr. Hockey". All elegantly signed over a single sheet of thick card stock that measures roughly 3 1/4" x 10 1/2" and features equally spaced out sections that have been autographed by Howe, all the signatures have been penned in thin black marker ink and all display well and without issue to speak of. Sporting just a touch of even toning throughout the surface of the card stock, all the autographs have been verified by Beckett and are accompanied by their LOA. A good opportunity to add a bevy of Howe's John Hancock to your collection or perfect for custom cards, don't miss out on this one!
