Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
One of the most important individuals regarding the history of hockey, as a player, official, innovator, coach and general manager, Art Ross developed one of the first nets, he also introduced a puck in 1918 that sported beveled edges, which helped it stay on the ice and not bounce. Up for bids, we have a 1911-12 Imperial Tobacco Art Ross card graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Off-centered, the colours remain bright, with some wear associated with the assigned grade.
