The 2nd overall pick by the San Jose Sharks in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, Patrick Marleau would go on to play 1779 games in the league with the Sharks, Maple Leafs and Penguins. The Sharks franchise record holder in games played, goals and points, Marleau has also represented Canada nationally, winning Olympic gold in 2010 and 2014. Offered here, we present is this “Toronto St. Pats” alternate jersey worn by Moore during the 1st period of Toronto’s contest against the Philadelphia Flyers on March 15th, 2019. Featuring an Adidas band that displays both “Made in Canada” and size “58” designations over the inner collar, NHL shield and Adidas crests reside over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with “St. Pats” in green felt letters sewn to an oval white felt base in the middle of the chest and the distinguished alternate captain's "A" over the left breast, Marleau's number “12” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching green felt material with the back numbers once again added on top of a white felt base and sewn down with a vintage-style sewing pattern. Displaying with “Marleau” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in green felt letters as well, the jersey, worn for just a single period of play, shows no obvious game-wear except for some loose threads at the left shoulder and remains in beautiful condition. Having had a Leafs team patch numbered “I-0227” placed inside the rear hem, a matching Leafs COA will accompany the piece.
