Registering a stat line of 30-26-11 along with a .910 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA in 69 games played during the 1995-96 regular season to go along with a pair of shutouts, Felix Potvin would lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to their 4th straight playoffs appearance and be named to the second NHL All-Star Game of his career during the year. Offered here, we present this Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn by "Felix the Cat" in 1995-96. Made by CCM, both Maska Ultrafil and size "58" labels are affixed to the inner collar while both the CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a classic Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it, matching Leafs alternate logo crests with heavily embroidered details have been placed over both shoulders. Having had Potvin's number "29" sewn to the sleeves and verso in single layer blue twill numerals, "Potvin" has been spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting excellent game-wear throughout its entirety, including puck marks over the front and both sleeves, spots of red post and crossbar paint transfer are found over the backside of both sleeves as well as on the reverse between the numbers. Also showing blue colour transfer marks from Potvin's equipment at both elbows and over the front, additional wear is observed via pilling at the left side of the collar, sweat staining around the collar and cuffs and light fraying/pills around the elbow reinforcements on the interior. Having had a Leafs team tag denoting the jersey as a "1995-1996 Game Worn 7 of 12 Limited Edition" offering sewn inside the reverse hem, Getty Image #889777148 (March 9th, 1996 vs Calgary) appears to show similarities to the shape of the blue colour transfer near the right elbow but is not clear enough for us to call a conclusive photo-match.
