Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Wonderful vivid colors strike the beholder of this encapsulated rookie card of Jack Darragh, an Ottawa-born lad who spent his entire career with the hometown Senators. As a rookie in 1910-11, the right winger scored 18 goals in 16 games to help the Sens to Lord Stanley’s silverware and was still going when Ottawa captured three Cup titles in the early-1920s. In the summer of 1924 though, Darragh died of a ruptured appendix. The card is in a recent PSA holder and received a grade of VG 3.
