Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Depicting one of the stars of the pre-NHL era, Tom Dunderdale’s card #6 here, from Imperial Tobacco’s coveted C55 set, is in a nice EX 5 condition. Dunderdale, after his lone year with the Quebec Bulldogs, actually in 1910-11, went west to join the Patrick's when the PCHA was formed, starring with Victoria and Portland for 12 years and scoring more goals in the PCHA than any other player. In 1974 Dunderdale, posthumously, became the first Australian-born player, (his family moved to Canada when he was 16), to be elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
