Regarded by many to this day as the greatest hockey player to ever lace up a pair of skates, the name Gordie Howe is synonymous with the game loved and played by so many across the world. In a career that spanned over five different decades from 1946-71 and 1973-80, fans and players alike will still find Howe’s name near the top of the all-time leaderboards all these years later. Also still one of the most collectable and collected players in the hobby, offered here is this trio of buyback cards that was interested into packs of Upper Deck's 2003-04 UD Series One product. All autograph cards that have been signed by Howe over the fronts that are also accompanied by Upper Deck COA's that match the holograms that have been affixed to the lower reverses, the first card hails from the 1999-2000 Upper Deck Century Legends release in the from of a "The Sporting News Top 50 Players #3" insert that has been hand serial numbered "7/9" in blue marker ink. Also including a 2001-02 Upper Deck Legends "Legendary Lamplighters" that is hand serial numbered "2/4" and a 2002-03 Upper Deck Series One "Memorable Seasons" insert that is serial numbered "16/23", all three (3) cards have been signed by Howe with beautiful blue marker ink signatures that display without issue and have also had his famed "Mr. Hockey" annotation added either above or below. Additionally, all three (3) cards, in their original raw ungraded state, remain in excellent condition overall with just light wear observed to the edges and corners that is worth mentioning for accuracy.
