The Red Wings joined the Canadiens and Maple Leafs in the Parkhurst lineup for the 1960-61 campaign, a year that saw the Chicago Black Hawks hoist Lord Stanley's Cup at season's end. Offered here, we present this complete set of Parkhurst's 1960-61 hockey release. Featuring a total of sixty-one (61) cards with most of the assembly found to be in the condition range of VG-EX to EX for their efforts, the group of key singles is paced by EX to EX-MT examples of 45-M. Richard and 48-Harvey while card #20 of Gordie Howe sports an EX to EX-MT front while the reverse is very light and has possibly been bleached. For the rest, those of 47-H. Richard (faint crease at top left plus corner wear), 49-Beliveau (corner wear), 53-Plante (top right corner ding that shows more on the reverse) and 61-Morrison (top left corner dinged and hairline crease) are in the neighbourhood of VG to VG-EX while the lead off card of #1 Tim Horton (tiny crease at top left corner area) and #31 Terry Sawchuk (very faint creases at bottom two corners) are around VG-EX proximity. Rounded out by VG-EX to EX range cards of 2-Mahovlich (light discolouration on reverse - top left and bottom right corner dings) and 3-Bower (bottom left corner dinged/fuzzy) both present in the vicinity of VG-EX to EX. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that cards 17-Armstrong, 42-Marshall and 58-Provost/Goyette/Pronovost have damage and/or defects to their reverses while cards sporting creases include; 19-Pulford (top to bottom vertical crease), 23-Abel (side to side horizontal crease in middle), 27-Smith (fine surface crease in top left area), 35-Lunde (multiple creases in left corner area), 36-Delvecchio (crease in upper right section of the card which has indentations in the surface as well), 44-Johnson (has a number of creases), 54-Provost (has a crease from top middle down to the team's crest), 57-Marshall/Richard/Moore (has a crease in the area of the number of the card), 58-Provost/Goyette/Pronovost (horizontal crease through the middle of the card). Lastly, it is also possible that card #58 of Provost/Goyette/Pronovost was bleached on the reverse.
