Two (2) of five (5) members of the famed "Russian Five" that suited up for the Detroit Red Wings in the era of the mid-1990s to the early-to-mid-2000s and helped the Motown club to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in both 1997 and 1998, offered here we present this pair of signed sticks used by Igor Larionov and Vyacheslav "Slava" Kozlov during the mid-1990s. Busch Balance (Kozlov) and Itech Busch Balance (Larionov) made models with each players respective name stamped over the upper shafts, both sticks retain their original tape jobs over the handles/knobs and blades. With both sticks having had pattern numbers stamped in the same areas as the player names and exhibiting good game-use via numerous marks and abrasions throughout the lengths of both shafts, lower shafts and heels, the blade tape on both sticks also sports marks over both sides and light wear is observed along the bottoms of both as well. Of note, the blade tape on the Larionov example is completely worn on the bottom but almost done in an intentional style. With both sticks having been autographed by their original owners, Larinov has signed in black marker ink over the forehand side of the handle tape while Kozlov has signed over the forehand side of the heel in gold marker ink. Both signatures display without issue and the Kozlov stick has had a JSA sticker affixed. Of note, the Kozlov stick has been broken in the middle of the shaft and mended back together.
