Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024

Matched set of gamers worn by David Scatchard while with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2006-07. Scatchard, a solid two-way forward, had 635 NHL regular season games under his belt when he moved down to the AHL to finish his pro hockey career. This pairing of burgundy and white Coyotes uniforms features the striking "Decade in the Desert" commemorative patch on the right breast of each uniform, and both jerseys are made by Reebok with size "56" collar tagging. The white jersey has a stain in the left neck/shoulder area, with a similar stain on the front hem. There are also a few small board burns on the right lower sleeve. The tie-neck burgundy-colored jersey has an unrepaired board burn on the right shoulder. The burgundy-colored jersey displays an "Official 2006/07-1 Game Worn Jersey" tag on the inner rear hem with a similar tag in the matching shirt stating "Official 2006-07-2 Game Issued Jersey". Each of the two jerseys comes with an LOA from the Phoenix Coyotes. To be noted, the LOA for the burgundy-colored jersey states it's a "#38 Dave Scatchard Set 2" while the patch on the inner says it's a "Set 1"; there is a discrepancy between the LOA and the jersey. Overall, both would make a good addition to your collection.
