Coming off the first Stanley Cup championship of his historical career, Martin Brodeur was back between the pipes for the New Jersey Devils during the 1995-96 season, playing in seventy-seven (77) of the team's eighty-two (82) games and earning nominations for both the Vezina and Hart Memorial Trophies. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018 and the NHL's all-time regular season leader in wins (691), losses (397), shutouts (125), and games played (1,266), offered here is this stick welded by Brodeur during the 1995-96 campaign. A Heaton Helite-III model with a bold "M. Brodeur" stamp observed over the shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of white wrapped around the knob while most of the black blade tape has been removed from the blade to facilitate Brodeur's flowing black marker ink signature that displays well and without issue. Displaying a date stamp on the underside of the lower shaft that reads "16 NOV 1995", the stick shows light-to-moderate game-wear throughout via some puck marks over the remaining blade tape and shaft while some red coloured post paint transfer marks are present over the backside of the shaft as well. Remaining structurally sound with no cracks or breaks, a dent is found at the top edge of the heel from contact with a speeding puck and residue of the formerly applied tape is found on the blade. Additionally, some staining/discolouration is seen on the paddle and blade as well.
