Drafted 41st overall by the Florida Panthers at the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, Kevin Weekes would play a total of 348 games over the course of his National Hockey League career, suiting up for seven (7) different clubs over that time. A product of the Owen Sound Platters and Ottawa 67's in the Ontario Hockey League who was a key member of the Carolina Hurricanes' run to the 2002 Stanley Cup Finals, offered here is this photo-matched New Jersey Devils jersey worn by Weekes during the 2008-09 season. Made by Reebok, size "58+" and "goalie style" tagging are affixed to the inner collar while the front and reverse necklines have been styled with the crests of the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front with a Devils team crest in layered tackle twill, the sleeves and verso have had Weekes' number "1" sewn to them in dual layer red-over-black tackle twill numerals. With "Weekes" spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate, the jersey shows game-wear in the form of puck marks over the front and both sleeves, a small board burn is observed in the black stripe of the left sleeve as well while spot staining is observed over the lower front and left cuff. Sporting some red colour bleed from multiple washings along the sides, a MeiGray tag numbered "F06158" is sewn inside the reverse hem with the company's population report listing it as a "White Set 1" specimen. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, the jersey has been matched with Getty Image #83615337 (November 8th, 2008 vs Detroit) to multiple puck marks over the front and near the left armpit as well. A Devils LOA will accompany the piece.
