Expected to run roughshod over the Soviets, and shocked by the skill and discipline of the Russians, coach Harry Sinden noted his disbelief after Game 1 of the 1972 Canada-Russia series, stating “I was stunned by their performance”. The Soviets would easily claim the first contest 7-3, with superstar Valeri Kharlamov scoring a pair of goals. We offer an original 1972 Canada-Russia Series full ticket produced for Game 1 in Montreal, graded "Authentic" by PSA. At 2" x 5 1/4", the "standing" room ticket lists the $7.00 cover price, with advertising on the reverse from CCM. Despite a few creases to the ticket, it displays nicely overall. There are only three Game 1 full tickets graded at PSA, two (2) are graded "authentic", and one (1) is graded PSA 4.
