Developing with the Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League, Joel Ward, who had gone undrafted, played four (4) years of Canadian University Hockey at the University of Prince Edward Island, finally earned a professional contract with the AHL's Houston Aeros for the 2005-06 season and would go on to play 726 NHL games over the course of his career, spending time with Minnesota, Nashville, Washington and San Jose. Offered here, we present this Sharks jersey worn by Ward during the 2016-17 NHL Playoffs. Made by Reebok, a lone size "58" label is affixed to the inner collar while the front and reverse necklines of the faux tie-neck collar are accented with the logo crests of the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front with a Sharks team crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders and the NHL's centennial logo is seen over the right sleeve. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Ward's number "42" in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill numerals, "Ward" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting just light game-wear, light board burns are seen over the right sleeve and a faint stick mark is observed over the lower front. Displaying a Sharks team tag inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as being from the "2017 Playoffs", the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #669875738 (April 16th, 2017 vs Edmonton - WCQF Game 3) to the long loose white thread off the front crest
