Having been the face of the Los Angeles Kings franchise for 15 full seasons and now in his 16th with the distinction of having the captain’s “C” on his chest, Anze Kopitar has been everything the Kings were hoping for and then some when they drafted the Slovenian 11th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Culminating in two Stanley Cup Championships in 2012 and 2014, Kopitar has regularly produced at near point-per-game numbers throughout his career. Offered here, we present this pair of photo-matched gloves worn by the the Los Angeles superstar during the 2014-15 season. Bauer made Nexus 1000 model gauntlets in Los Angeles' black and white colours, "Kopitar 11" is embroidered into the wrist guard of each glove while "Bauer" and "Nexus 1000" brand and model designations have been embroidered in to the cuffs and thumbs respectively. Having become considerable dusty over time and displaying with a greyish hue over the outside of both, the gloves both show excellent wear in the form heavy rubbing over both palms, including a heavy black coating to the palm of the left glove while a hole is present in the lower palm of the right one. Additionally, stick and slash marks are seen over the outside of both as well, along with rips, frays, and additional unrepaired cuts over the backside of the fingers and both hands. Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the gloves have been matched to Getty Image #464083642 (February 21st, 2015 vs San Jose - 2015 NHL Stadium Series) to the rip near the fingers on the topside of Anze's right glove.
