One of the all-time greatest players in the history of the National Hockey League, with his skill set and ferocious play seldomly ever being matched, the late great Bobby Hull earned endless hardware throughout his HOF career including the Lester Patrick, Hart Memorial and Lady Byng, along with a trio of Art Ross Trophies. A Stanley Cup champion with Chicago in 1961 who would go on to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983, offered here is Hull's 1959-60 to 1971-72 NHL All-Star Game commemorative 10K gold and diamond puck-shaped charm bracelet. Named to the National Hockey League's First All-Star Team a total of ten (10) times during his career, a charm for each year is present, including the campaigns of; 1959-60, 1961-62, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67, 1967-68, 1968-69, 1969-70 and 1971-72. Most likely produced after Hull's playing career at the request of Hull himself, each charm has a diameter of approximately 9/16 of an inch and an approximate thickness of slightly less than 3/16 of an inch. All shaped like hockey pucks, the front of each puck-shaped charm features crossed hockey sticks along with a diamond-filled star and “NHL All-Star” while the reverse of each charm is engraved with his name and the year(s) he was named a First Team All-Star. Additionally, the bottom edge of each charm is stamped with "10K" and starting with the 1961-62 charm, there is a mounted diamond on the edge for each season Hull was a First Team All-Star (two diamonds for the 1961-62 charm up to ten diamonds for the 1971-72 charm). All firmly affixed to a gold bracelet that shows a "14K" stamp over its clasp, there are no visible markings on the chain itself stating it is indeed "14K" gold. Of note, due to the fact that the charms are firmly attached to the chain it isn't possible to give the approximate weight of each charm or the chain separately with everything weighted together having an approximate weight of 140 grams. Exhibiting light scuffing/light scratches over the charms themselves as well as small dents that are associated with their former use, overall all the charms, as well as the bracelet itself, display very nicely for their age.
Originally belonging to Hull's third wife, Deborah, who in recent years sent this bracelet with the charms as a gift to a family member, a family LOA will accompany this stunning and important piece that has a direct connection to one of the best players to ever grace the ice of the National Hockey League.
