Playing four years of NCAA hockey with UMass-Lowell and serving as captain in his senior season, Josh Holmstrom helped lead the RiverHawks to two Hockey East championships and to the 2013 NCAA Frozen Four before embarking on a pro career that saw him play in both the ECHL and AHL. Offered here, we present this photo-matched AHL Bridgeport Sound Tigers jersey worn by Holmstrom during the 2016-17 season. Made by CCM with brand/league tagging affixed to the inner collar along with a size "58" label as well, CCM logo patches are found over the reverse neckline and hem with the latter also joined by an AHL league crest as well. Decorated over the front with a Sound Tigers team crest that features embroidered decals throughout, a sponsorship patch is seen over the right breast while the shoulders have been styled with a Sound Tigers alternate logo patch on the right side and a New York Islanders crest on the left side. Having had Holmstrom's number "12" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer blue-over-orange tackle twill numerals, "J. Holmstrom" is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting heavy game-wear via stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, additional battle scars are viewed in the form of coloured board paint transfers, board burns, unrepaired holes and fabric patched team repairs on the interior of both sleeves. Featuring heavy pilling on the interior and accompanied by a Sound Tigers LOA, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #647524314 (March 2nd, 2017 vs Toronto) to numerous board burns in the "2" of the right sleeve and a stick mark under the "2" of the left sleeve.
