The 8th overall pick of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, Shayne Corson would play a total of 1,156 games in his National Hockey League career, being named to the All-Star Game in 1990, 1994 and 1998 while also representing his native Canada on numerous occasions. From his third and final season in Ontario, we have a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn by Corson in 2002-03. Made by KOHO with size “56” tagging to the collar, a KOHO patch has been added over the reverse neckline while the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with a vintage style Maple Leafs team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, the sleeves and verso of the tie-neck style garment have been accented with “27” in single layer blue twill numerals while “Corson” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Just light game-use is shown, with a few dark marks to the left sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “A06333” that has been sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
