Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/21/2024
Representing five different NHL clubs throughout his professional career, Trent Klatt spent parts of five seasons with Vancouver, and we offer a Canucks alternate captain's jersey worn by the Minnesota native in 2002-03. A label with "58" sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Koho crests to the bottom hem and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the Canucks team crest that saw use from 1997 to 2007, the navy V-neck has been accented with textured dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Klatt” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. "Klatt" and "26" are also written to the fight strap in black marker. With a few stick marks to the front band, there are board burns to each sleeve, with some blue paint transfer over the numbers on the reverse and right sleeve. There is also a pair of team repairs near the left elbow, with light pilling beneath the fight strap. A MeiGray patch numbered "A03575" resides on the inside hem, and according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Navy 2nd Regular Season" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
