Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
From his sixth of eight seasons spent in Alberta with Edmonton, we have an Oilers jersey worn by enforcer Georges Laraque during the 2002-03 NHL regular season. An Elite label with size “58” tag sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar tear-drop Oilers team crest, the “Blue 2nd Regular Season” jersey has been accented with tri-layer tackle twill numbers along with matching oil rig patches over each shoulder. Game-wear includes a few burn marks to the sleeves. The team patch sits on the inside hem next to a MeiGray crest numbered "A01528", and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Navy 2nd regular Season" specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
