Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Drafted 34th overall by the Buffalo Sabres at the 1998 NHL Entry Draft after playing in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals and Kitchener Rangers, Andrew Peters would go on to play a total of 229 National Hockey League games in his career, all but 29 of them with the team that drafted him. From those 29 games played with New Jersey, we have a Devils jersey worn by the Ontario native in 2009-10. A label with “58+” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests gracing the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a layered tackle twill Devils team crest, "25” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material with "Peters" across the affixed nameplate. The jersey shows light use with a few marks to the front and sleeves along with staining to the reverse and right cuff. There is also a team repair over the left elbow. A MeiGray patch numbered “G04669” has been sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2” specimen. An LOA will accompany.
