Always a hobby favourite and featuring a groovy array of colours as well as a strong group of National Hockey League star power, up on the block this time is a near complete assembly of O-Pee-Chee’s fabled 1971-72 release. Ringing in with 257 of the set’s 264 cards present and accounted for, the group is missing the likes of 20-P. Esposito, 45-Dryden RC, 50-Hull, 100-Orr, 111-Checklist, 133-Dionne RC, 148-Lafleur RC, 152, 161, 175, 184, 207, 245-Orr AW, 257-Orr AS, 262-"Mr. Hockey", 263-Beliveau Gros Bill and 264. Found to be in the overall average condition ranges of VG-EX to EX and EX-MT throughout, the key cards are led by EX to EX-MT examples of 40-Park, 60-Perreault (90-10 centering top-to-bottom), 193-Sittler, 220-Giacomin, 253-P. Esposito AS (light corner wear) and 261-Hull AS (light corner wear), also included is an EX vicinity copy of card #114 picturing Bobby Clarke over the front that shows light corner wear, VG-EX to EX range cards of 246-Perreault Calder (corner wear) and 247-P. Esposito Art Ross (corner wear) and VG to VG-EX examples of 110-T. Esposito (corner wear), 125-Mikita (corner wear and top border ding) and 131-Parent (corner wear). Rounded out by a G to VG neighbourhood copy of card #195 that pictures Jacques Plante over the front which shows a stain at the bottom left and a ding to the top right corner, the last card to mention is a GOOD condition range copy of Frank Mahovlich's card #105 that shows corner wear all the way around as well as a crease.
