A 17-time All-Star at an unequaled five positions with a trio of batting titles earned, Pete Rose is baseball's all-time hit leader with 4256 base knock, playing primarily for his hometown Cincinnati Reds as well as with the Philadelphia Phillies and Montreal Expos. Having claimed a trio of World Series championships during his career along with a litany of other awards and accomplishments, offered here is this collection of Rose O-Pee-Chee baseball cards dating from 1970 to 1982 as well as other 1980s baseball cards and items of Rose from various brands. Starting with the O-Pee-Chee cards, the group is paced by a 1970 All-Star offering that is seen as being in GOOD condition with a stain, general wear and corner issues while other years included are those of his from 1974 (EX to EX-MT - 70-30 centering), 1976 (GOOD - off-center and corners), 1977 (x2 - VG to VG-EX - light corner wear + FR to G - creases and corner wear), 1978 (EX-MT to NM - off-center), 1978 Record Breaker (VG-EX to EX - surface "snow"), 1980 (x2 - both EX to EX-MT - one with slight corner fuzz one with slight border wear), 1981 (EX-MT to NM - 95-5 centring) and 1982 (EX-MT - NM). For the rest of the lot, including fifty-three (53) other Rose cards from the 1980s released by various companies, nine (9) box bottom cards are also present and accounted for as well with most remaining in EX-MT to NM condition. Lastly, rounding out the lot is a never opened Wheaties box from 1985 that pictures Rose on the front and remains in excellent condition.
