Making up the goaltending tandem of the Philadelphia Flyers for a total of 76 games between the 1985-86 and 1986-87 seasons, offered here, we present this collection of two goalie sticks used by Glenn "Chico" Resch and Bob Froese during that time period. Vintage lumber made by Chimo (PLPG 555) and Vic ("Curtis Curve") respectively, "B. Froese" is stamped to the Vic made offering while "Resch" is stamped to the upper shaft of the Chimo twig. Both retaining their original tape jobs of white over the handles/knobs and blades, the pair of offerings show just light game-use via some marks and abrasions over the paddles, shafts and blades while the blade tape on both sticks sport a small number of pucks marks on both sides. Featuring a mix of partially intact and intact foil accent stickers over the paddles with the ones placed lower down partially covered by the blade tape, the edges of both paddles have dents/chips of wood taken out of them due to contact with pucks while the Resch stick has a tape patch at the top edge due to a large crack, once again caused by a shot as well. Additionally, red post paint transfer marks are present over the knob tape of the Resch stick.
