A lot sure to pique the interest of those that seek out food premiums for their collections, presented here is this one comprised of early-1970s offerings in the form of complete sets of Mac's Milk 1973-74 hockey sticker set of thirty (30) and Dad's Cookies 1970-71 hockey card set of 144. Starting with the stickers, a premium at Mac’s Milk convenience stores across Canada that kept youngsters frequenting to find their favourite player, the stickers measure 3" in diameter and sport attractive caricature drawings, with a number of HOFers featured in the set. Included, we have Orr, Park, Ratelle, Savard, Sittler, Bucyk, Cashman, Ellis, Clarke, Cournoyer, Gilbert, Lapointe, Lemaire, F. Mahovlich, P. Mahovlich, Plante, Bergman, Glennie, Henderson, Johnston, Kehoe, Kurtenbach, Martin, McKenny, Parise, Redmond, Stapleton, Tallon, White and Norm Ullman. In terms of condition, the majority of the stickers remain in especially pleasing condition with just light handling wear, with the backings all intact. For the 1970-71 Dad's Cookies cards, originally culled from packages of delicious Dad’s Cookies in 1970-71, and apparently, also to be distributed with a chocolate cookie bar named “Hat Trick” – according to Bobby Burrell’s Vintage Hockey Collector, the set is complete at 144, with all of the superstars of the day featured, including Howe, Beliveau, Orr, Plante, Hull and many others. Regarding condition, the majority of the cards remain in high-grade condition and display beautifully, with just the odd example sporting a slightly lower technical grade due to things like light wear touches at the corners and edges
