Renowned for not just his masterful skills within the crease, Ken Dryden is also well remembered for the iconic masks he wore throughout his legendary Hall of Fame career with the Montreal Canadiens, including his white pretzel mask first worn with Cornell, followed by his famous red and blue “target” or “bullseye” mask. This original painting on canvas feature’s the superstar unmasked, and it’s been executed by renowned artist Murray Henderson. A charitable organization supporter and noteworthy for his sports representations, Henderson’s works are accounted for in a number of private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the US and Europe. Large at approx 19” x 48”, Dryden is depicted in his noteworthy pose, fully uniformed minus his mask, executed in Henderson’s wonderful impressionistic style. The artist has signed along the bottom right in red, and with no condition issues to note, the canvas will be shipped to the winning bidder rolled and be accompanied by a Classic Auctions LOA.
