Simply unable to be played without it, the puck has been synonymous with the game of hockey since the very beginning. Offered here, is this collection of pucks totaling thirteen (13) that have been signed by various stars and Hockey Hall of Fame inductees from throughout the years. Including examples of Ted Lindsay (Detroit Red Wings - HockeyInk COA), Norm Ullman (Detroit Red Wings - "HOF 1982" inscription - very light smudging), Marcel Dionne (Los Angeles Kings - "HOF 92" inscription), Gilbert Perrault (Buffalo Sabres), Rogie Vachon (Los Angeles Kings - Frozen Pond COA), Bryan Trottier/Clark Gillies (New York Islanders - COA for the Gillies signature), Terry Harper (Montreal Canadiens - AJ Sports COA), Ted Kennedy (Toronto Maple Leafs - "HOF 66" inscription - smudging/scratches), Pierre Pilote (Chicago Black Hawks - "HOF 75" inscription), Paul Coffey/Marty McSorley (Edmonton Oilers), Dave Schultz (Philadelphia Flyers - "The Hammer" inscription - some smudging - HockeyInk COA), Bob Kelly (Philadelphia Flyers - "Hound" inscription - light/minor smudging - HockeyInk COA) and John McKenzie (Boston Bruins - "Pie" inscription - HockeyInk COA). With all the pucks in good condition and sporting just light handling/surface wear that is observed throughout the group, don't miss out on these!
Additionally, also included with the lot is a New York Islanders replica captain's jersey of Clark Gillies that has also been signed by the four (4) time Stanley Cup champion and 2002 HHOF inductee. Made by Reebok and sporting size "XL" labeling affixed to the inner collar and over the lower front, the classic white tie-neck garment is decorated over the front with a familiar Islanders team crest while the distinguished alternate captain's "C" is in place over the left breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Gillies' number "9" in dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Gillies" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed nameplate at the top of the reverse. Remaining in overall good condition with some marks observed throughout, Gillies has signed over the "9" on the reverse with a large black marker ink signature that displays without issue and includes an "HOF 02" inscription in matching ink that is accompanied by one of Gillies' personal business cards.
