Feared by each and every NHL netminder for his legendary shot - arguably the greatest all-time, Bobby Hull frustrated keepers further by using an exaggeratedly large curved blade that added an unpredictable flight path to an already deadly projectile. The owner of 913 professional regular season goals between his time in both the National Hockey League and World Hockey Association and a champion of both the Stanley Cup and AVCO Cup, offered here is this stick used by "The Golden Jet" as a member of the Chicago Black Hawks during the 1968-69 season in which he set NHL career highs in goals (58) and points (107). A CCM Custom Pro model with "B Hull" and his number "9" stamped over the upper shaft, the stick retains Bobby's original vintage black tape job around the notched handle/knob as well as around the blade. Void of the striping accent sticker that once graced the lower shaft, long since lost to time, the stick shows game-wear some small dark marks, red post paint marks and other abrasions throughout the length of the shaft while wear is present throughout the underside of the heel. Signed by Hull over the forehand side of the stick with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue, the stick comes accompanied by its original Classic Auctions LOA.
