A three-time Stanley Cup champion with Edmonton during the 1980s, Andy Moog is the second-fastest goaltender to reach 300 wins after Jacques Plante. Making his NHL debut for the Oilers in 1980-81 and going on to a career that spanned a total of 713 games played, offered here is this stick used by Moog during his final season of 1997-98 as a member of the Montreal Canadiens. A Christian made offering in the Canadiens familiar red, white and blue colour way with a "Curtis Curve" handle, "Moog" is found stamped to the upper shaft. Retaining its original of white and blue cloth over black on the knob and white on the blade, additional tape of blue cloth-over-black is found over the handle where the paddle and shaft meet overtop of an intact accent sticker. Remaining structurally sound and free from any cracks or breaks, the stick shows game-use via puck marks over the forehand side of the paddle, shaft and heel with both sides of the blade tape sporting similar marks as well while red post paint transfers are seen over the backhand side of the upper shaft. With the blade tape having raised up from the blade a bit in some areas due to having dried out, Moog has signed over the paddle with a bold silver ink signature that displays without issue, making it out to Canadiens equipment manager Pierre Gervais with a notation reading "Your the best, Gerv" in matching ink and condition.
