Now known as the Elks, Edmonton's Canadian Football League franchise was founded in 1949 as the Edmonton Eskimos and have won the Grey Cup championship fourteen times, including a three-peat between 1954 and 1956 and an unmatched five consecutive wins between 1978 and 1982. Boasting an alumni list that features notable names including Warren Moon, Norman Kwong, Jackie Parker, Tommy Joe Coffey, Ricky Ray and Henry Williams, offered here is this trio of Edmonton Eskimos game-worn items including a helmet and pair of jerseys. Starting with the helmet, a green, white, black and yellow offering made by Riddell, Eskimos decals have been placed over both sides while racing stripes have been placed from front to back over the top. Featuring with its original face mask, CFL and Eskimos stickers have been added over the lower reverse along with a number "60" player identifier as well. Complete with all its padding on the interior as well as the striping for the chin cup, the helmet exhibits excellent game-wear through numerous marks and abrasions throughout as well as coloured scuffs and wear to the applied decals while the Riddell bumper logo above the face mask is cracked and missing pieces. For the game-worn jerseys, both green coloured home garments made by Starter and Reebok respectively, the first was worn by Morris Lolar circa 1994-95 while the second was donned by Cory Boyd in 2012. For the Lolar, tagged as size "46" over the front hem, a "94" year tag is sewn on in the same area and CFL plus Starter logo patches have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Sporting a Starter jock tag over the front hem, rubberized Eskimos logos and striping patterns are seen over both sleeves while the front, reverse and both shoulders have been style with Lolar's number "28" in dual layer yellow-over-white rubberized numbers that remain in good condition with just light cracking exhibited. Displaying "Lolar" in matching style rubberized letters across the affixed matching nameplate over the upper reverse, the 1995 Grey Cup patch worn by teams throughout the 1995 playoffs has been added over the right collarbone, suggesting the jersey was either reworn in 1995 after being worn the previous year or was patched as a backup. Showing excellent game-wear, hit marks and paint transfers are viewed over both shoulders and sleeves and well as on the upper reverse. Additionally, a team repair is observed just underneath the left shoulder numbers. For the Boyd jersey, hailing from the 2012 season, is a Reebok made offering that displays a "12-42" year/size swatch sewn to the inner collar while a Reebok jock tag with a size "42" label is sewn inside the front hem. Sporting “Eskimos” embroidered over the upper chest, “28” in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numbers is sewn to the front, reverse and shoulders, with Eskimos logos and striping over both sleeves in rubberized style. Additionally, there are also sponsorship crests over the left and right breasts. Displaying "Boyd" over the affixed matching nameplate on the reverse in dual layer yellow-over-white letters, the jersey displays excellent game-use through numerous hit marks and paint transfers as well as pilling to the satin sides while the original team store receipt is affixed to the neck. A fabulous grouping for any Edmonton football or CFL enthusiast, also included with the lot is a 1990s Stater made Eskimos replica jersey of longtime QB Damon Allen that has been twice signed by him over the front and reverse numbers with black marker ink signatures that display well despite some fading from age. A size "XL" garment in good condition, a couple of light marks to the body as well as some peeling to the numbers of the left shoulder are worth noting for accuracy
