Pair of early 2000s WHL Lethbridge Hurricanes game-worn jerseys includes a 2001-02 red gamer worn by Tomas Kopecky. Drafted in the second round (No. 38) by Detroit in 2000, Kopecky played 578 NHL games with the Red Wings, Chicago and Florida, and was a member of the 2009-10 Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks. He had 76 points in 60 games in his second season in Lethbridge in 2001-02. Size 56 flag tag hangs below the Nike Size 56 tagging in the back of the neck of his No. 9 game-worn jersey. Canes patches are sewn on both shoulders and the WHL patch is sewn on the right breast. Kopecky rang up 94 PIMs for the Hurricanes in 2001-02 and the fight strap has been custom-modified by a skate lace looped around it tightly just above the clasp. Game wear includes black marks on the front tail, as well as on the sleeves, which also display board burns. There are a few marks on the back, including a long one through the upper right of the twill No. 9. Also included is Derrick Ruck’s 2000-01 white Hurricanes gamer that displays solid game wear. Size 54 flag tag hangs below the Nike Size 54 tagging in the back of the neck. Game wear includes a solid board burn with an unrepaired hole on the right shoulder, blacks marks all over the front tail and both sleeves, and the sleeve display board burns, unrepaired holes and blue and red paint transfer. There is substantial pilling inside the rear tail of the jersey. Each game-worn jersey comes with a team LOA.
