Russian-born Alexander Semin played seven seasons with the Washington Capitals before finishing his NHL career in Carolina and Montreal. The CCM size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2008-2009 season F07346", and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "Red Set 3 / Playoffs" example. The MeiGray LOA confirms that "this Red Set 3 jersey was worn by #28 Alexander Semin during the 2008-2009 National Hockey League regular season and Stanley Cup Playoff". The lower right sleeve has a dozen or so game marks, including an unrepaired board burn, an unrepaired cut, and multiple board burns. The left shoulder has a couple of board burns, and the lower front of the jersey exhibits a few game marks. The fight strap shows signs of some washing. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number F07346 matching the one on the jersey.
