Colby Armstrong was traded from the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Atlanta Thrashers on February 26th, 2008, and played 18 regular-season games with the Thrashers. The CCM size tag indicates it is a size "56" on the inner collar and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. Armstrong has signed the number "1" on the back of the jersey. The front right breast displays an NHL “Atlanta 2008 All-Star Game” patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2007-2008 season E08955" and according to MeiGray's population report the jersey is a "Blue Set 2" example. The right sleeve exhibits two small unrepaired cuts, along with numerous game marks on the lower right sleeve. On the left shoulder, there are some board burns, and below that, you'll find an unrepaired board burn. There is a faint mark above the Thrashers logo on the front, and some staining appears in the top area of the "9" on the back, potentially glue residue from the affixed jersey numbers. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA, this Armstrong jersey makes for a good addition to your Thrashers collection.
