A product of the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Brad Lukowich spent time in the NHL with a number of clubs, including Tampa Bay, New Jersey, and Dallas. From his only season on Long Island, we have a New York Islanders alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Cranbrook native for 7 games between October 8, 2005 and January 14, 2006. The size tag indicates it is a size "56" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2004-2005 season C06525," and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1 w/A." The MeiGray LOA states that this jersey was "worn by #25 Brad Lukowich during the 2005-2006 National Hockey League regular season." There is another patch on the inside hem that reads "2005-2006 Season," and on the left breast is an Alternate "A" patch.
The right lower sleeve has two board burns, and the left lower sleeve exhibits three game marks. On the front hem, there are two game marks, and on the back hem next to the "NHL" logo is a noticeable game mark. There is light pilling around the front and back hem and on the inside lower back. The inside chest has light pilling as well, and the fight strap shows some signs of washing. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number "C06525" matching the one on the jersey.
