A formidable bruiser who played a total of 518 National Hockey League games over the course of his career, Todd Ewen would rack up a total of 1914 penalty minutes over that time, averaging out to 3.69 PIM a game. A Stanley Cup champion with the Canadiens in 1993, offered here is this Habs jersey worn by Ewen during the 1991-92 campaign. Made by CCM, both partially washed out Maska Ultrafil and size "54" tags are affixed to the inner collar while the logos of CCM and the NHL shield have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the famed "CH" crest of Les Canadiens, the NHL's 75th anniversary patch, worn by all teams throughout the league's milestone season, has been added over the right breast. Having had Ewen's number "36" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer blue-over-red tackle twill numerals, "Ewen" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting moderate game-wear, stick marks are observed over the front (along with stains) and both sleeves while coloured board paint transfers are present over both sleeves as well along with a couple of scattered light board burns. Sporting a small unrepaired hole above the "3" on the reverse, a pair of team repairs are found near the left elbow while pilling is seen at the reverse hem and interior at the reverse hem and elbows. LOA's from Drop The Gloves and The Hockey Gallery will accompany the piece.
