This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
A product of both the Moncton Wildcats and Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL, Jason Demers would be selected 186th overall by the San Jose Sharks at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to play 700 games in the National Hockey League thus far in his professional career. Offered here, we present this Sharks jersey worn by Demers during the 2011-12 season. Made by Reebok, a lone size “56” tag is affixed to the inner collar while NHL crest and Reebok logo patches adorn the front and reverse neckline respectively. Decorated over the front with a Sharks team crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo crests have been placed over each shoulder as well. Accented over the front, sleeves and verso with Demers’ number “60” in tri-layer stacked tackle twill numerals, “Demers” is spelt out in matching style across the affixed matching nameplate. Having had a team tag denoting the piece as a “2011-2012” offering that was used between February 11th, 2012 and April 6th, 2012 sewn inside the reverse hem, the jersey exhibits excellent game-wear via stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves with a small red coloured paint transfer present over the reverse hem as well. Additionally, numerous team repairs are present near both cuffs including a large cluster over the right one. Finally, light pilling and frays are found on the interior as well. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #141967363 (March 13th, 2012 vs Calgary) to the stick mark and cluster of team repairs at the right cuff
