With 95% of Canadians said to have peanuts or peanut butter in their households traditionally, the product was ideal to market hockey premiums for boys from coast to coast, with York Peanut Butter doing exactly that throughout the 1960s when the company offered a number of different promotions. Offered here, we present this complete 54-card assembly of 1963-64 York Peanut Butter cards that have all been graded by PSA with 53 of the cards having been graded NM-MT 8 or better Including twenty (20) MINT 9 cards and three (3) GEM MT 10 cards that would land the set in fourth (4th) place for the current finest sets on the PSA Set Registry. All white back variations, the set's lead off card of Tim Horton is the lone sub-8 exception in the group, having earned a mark of EX 5 for its effort while the entire group is paced by GEM MT 10's of #10 Bill Harris, #30 Bill Hicke and #32 of Marc Reaume. With most of the set made up of NM-MT 8's, those found in this grouping include cards 2-Bower, 3, 4-Shack, 5-Mahovlich, 6-Keon, 8, 9-Duff, 17, 18, 21-Tremblay, 22-Worsley, 23, 26-Beliveau, 29, 31, 33, 34-Laperriere, 36, 37-Sawchuk, 38-Pronovost, 39-Gadsby, 40, 41, 42, 43-Pronovost, 44, 46, 47-Ullman, 49 and 50-Delvecchio.
