Russian-born player Alexei Semenov was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 36th overall, during the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Alexei played for Edmonton, Florida and San Jose before returning to Russia to compete in the KHL. The size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar features a "CCM" patch. The right breast has a “25th” anniversary patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2003-2004 season B03634" and according to MeiGray's population report the jersey is a "White 1st Regular Season" example. Next to the MeiGray patch is the team patch "Set #2 2003-2004”. The MeiGray LOA confirms that “this Third 1st Regular Season jersey was worn by Alexei Semenov during the 2003-2004 National Hockey League regular season”. The lower right sleeve exhibits three stick marks, and the left sleeve has a stick mark and red paint transfer, along with a half dozen or so game marks. The front hem exhibits a few game marks, including a stick mark, and the back of the jersey has a couple of unrelated game stains. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number B03634 matching the one on the jersey.
