Drafted 64th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Brad Richard would go on to a National Hockey League career that spanned a total of 1126 games split between Tampa Bay, Dallas, New York, Chicago and Detroit. A two-time Stanley Cup champion and the Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 2004 with the Lightning who also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, offered here is this New York Rangers jersey worn by Richards during the lockout shortened 2012-13 season. A Reebok made offering that sports a single size “56” tag affixed the inner collar that has a Steiner hologram affixed, a Rangers team inventory barcode is present above. Accented with both NHL shield and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines of the tie-neck garment respectively, the front has been decorated with “Rangers” going diagonally down the chest in blue-over-red drop shadow tackle twill letters that have been individually affixed while the distinguished alternate captain's "A" has been added over the left breast. With the sleeves and verso having been accented with Richards' number “19” in matching style, “Richards” is spelt out in matching style drop shadow letters that are arched across the affixed matching nameplate over the upper reverse. A "Set 5" specimen according to the accompanying Steiner LOA that matches the hologram affixed to the size tag in the inner collar, the jersey exhibits good game-wear via stick marks over the front and left sleeve as well as board burns on the right sleeve as well. Having been photo-matched to only hat trick of his long career, Getty Image #167317277 (April 19th, 2013 vs Buffalo) is matched to loose threads in the letters "G", "E" and "S" of "Rangers", and to the extra material on the top of the "1" on the left sleeve while image #167241074 (April 19, 2013 vs Buffalo) is matched to the black mark below the "A" of "Rangers".
