Anton Volchenkov, a veteran of 696 National Hockey League games, embarked on his NHL journey after being drafted 21st overall in 2000 by the Ottawa Senators. Throughout his career, he proudly represented his native Russia on numerous occasions, including the 2006 and 2010 Olympic Games. The size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "KOHO" patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2002-2003 season A04101", and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1" example. The MeiGray LOA confirms that "this Third Set 1 jersey was worn by Anton Volchenkov during the 2002-2003 National Hockey League regular season". There are a couple of game marks on the lower right sleeve, including a board burn, and on the left shoulder there is a faint board burn. A few faint game marks adorn the back of the jersey, including one on the number "4". Some pilling is noticeable on the inside back hem, and the fight strap shows signs of early salting and some washing. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number A04101 matching the one on the rookie jersey.
