Enjoying an especially lengthy pro career despite going undrafted, Dan Boyle dressed for four different clubs and hoisted the Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2004. The Ottawa native also won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. A veteran of 1093 National Hockey League games with the likes of Florida, Tampa Bay, San Jose and New York who was also selected to a pair of All-Star Games over the course of his 17-year career, offered here is this jersey worn by Boyle during his final season as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Made by Reebok and sporting a partially sewn over size "56" label affixed to the inner collar that has had Boyle's number "22" penned to the top of it in black marker ink, the front and reverse necklines have been accented with the crests of the NHL and Reebok respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Tampa Bay team crest that features textured and embroidered details throughout its entirety, matching alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders as well. Accented over the chest, sleeves and verso with Boyle's number "22" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Boyle" is spelt out in single layer black twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate that is in place at the top of the reverse. Of note, the nameplate has yellowed a bit due to the adhesive that was used to hold the nameplate down before sewing. Featuring a fight strap and Lightning team tag sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as a "2007-2008 Set #3" offering, the jersey exhibits game-wear via light stick marks over the front and both sleeves while board burns exist over both sleeves as well. Showing a quartet of team repairs over the left sleeve as well as small unrepaired cuts over the front and left sleeve also. Displaying pilling on the inside of both sleeves, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #80327793 (March 20th, 2008 vs Pittsburgh) to the team repairs to the left of the first "2" on the left sleeve.
