Drafted 64th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning at the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Brad Richard would go on to a National Hockey League career that spanned a total of 1126 games split between Tampa Bay, Dallas, New York, Chicago and Detroit. A two-time Stanley Cup champion and the Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 2004 with the Lightning who also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, offered here is this Tampa Bay Lightning jersey worn by Richards during the 2007-08 season before he was traded to the Dallas Stars on February 26th, 2008. Made by Reebok and displaying a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar that has had Richards' number "19" penned to it in black marker ink, the crests of both the NHL and Reebok have been added over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a Tampa Bay team crest that features textured and embroidered details throughout its entirety, matching alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders while the distinguished alternate captain's "A" has been sewn on over the left breast. Of note, an outline of a bigger previously applied alternate captain's "A" remains around the current one that is applied as the Lightning replaced the larger ones with smaller ones in the middle of the season. It is also important to note that this has resulted in a few small holes in the outline. Having had Richards' number "19" added over the front, reverse and both sleeves in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals, "Richards" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Featuring a fight strap and Lightning team tag sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as a "2007-2008 Set #3" offering, the jersey exhibits just light game wear in the form of a light stick mark near the left cuff and a small board burn over the left sleeve as well.
