A product of both the New Westminster Bruins and the University of Denver Pioneers, Ken Berry would be selected 112th overall by the Vancouver Canucks at the 1980 NHL Entry Draft and play a total of fifty-five (55) games over the course of four (4) seasons for the Edmonton Oilers and eventually the team that drafted him, the Canucks. Twice suiting up for Team Canada at the Olympic Winter Games (1980 and 1988), offered here is this Vancouver jersey worn by Berry during the 1988-89 season in which he played in a thirteen (13) games. Made by CCM and sporting a partially washed out Maska Ultrafil label affixed to the inner collar, the jersey measures out to roughly a size "50" for its effort and a tonal black and orange coloured CCM logo has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with Vancouver's now famous "Flying Skate" team crest that features embroidered details throughout it, the Babe Pratt memorial patch that was added to the jerseys by the club after Pratt's passing on December 16th, 1988 is affixed over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Berry's number "18" in yellow-over-orange dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Berry" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting moderate game-wear, throughout, stick marks and board burns are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves while a small green coloured board paint transfer mark is found in the bottom yellow stripe of the right hip.
