Going undrafted before being signed by the Pittsburgh Penguins after going undrafted, Mark Letestu would suit up for a total of 567 National Hockey League games over the course of his eleven (11) year career, wearing the colours of the Penguins as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets. A product of the AJHL's Bonnyville Pontiacs and the Western Michigan University Broncos in the the NCAA, offered here is this Oilers jersey worn by Letestu during the "Battle of Alberta" against the Calgary Flames on January 16th, 2016. Made by Reebok and featuring size "56" and Elite Sportswear labels affixed to the inner collar, the crests of both the NHL and Reebok have been added to the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with the familiar Oilers team crest that features embroidered details, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Letestu's number “55” in stacked dual layer tackle twill numerals with “Letestu” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in matching style dual layer tackle twill letters. Signed by Letestu over the first number "5" on the reverse with a white paint pen signature that displays without issue, the jersey, worn for just a single game, remains in excellent condition and shows just light evidence of wear through a few board burns over the right forearm and some pilling in the top white stripe of the left sleeve. Displaying an Oilers team tag sewn inside the reverse hem as well as a MeiGray tag numbered "M02639", according to the company's population report, the jersey is an "Orange - Promotional Game 1/16/16" specimen and is accompanied by an Oilers LOA.
