A product of the WHL's Regina Pats that is best remembered for his game tying goal against Russia in the semi-finals at the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship with just 5.4 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime and eventually a shootout, Jordan Eberle has gone on to play in nearly 1000 National Hockey League games in his career with the likes of the Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders and Seattle Kraken after been drafted 22nd overall by Edmonton in 2008. Offered here, and hailing from his rookie season of 2010-11, is this Oilers retro style jersey worn for a portion of the season by Eberle. Made by Reebok and having had both size "56" and "Elite Sportswear" labels affixed to the inner collar, patches of the NHL and Reebok have been added to the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a classic and familiar Oilers team crest that includes embroidered details, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Eberle's number "14" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Eberle" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Worn in a total of six (6) games between December 10th, 2010 and February 13th, 2011, the jersey exhibits game-wear via board burns over both sleeves, some small fabric snags throughout and good pilling on the interior. Additionally, some light stick marks are observed near the right cuff and more burns/board paint transfer marks plus a small stick mark are present over the right shoulder. Having had an Oilers team tag sewn inside the reverse hem, a MeiGray tag numbered "H01209" has been added alongside it with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Blue Retro Set 2" offering that is accompanied by a matching LOA. Also having been photo-matched, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #109507552 (February 13th, 2011 vs Anaheim) to the stick mark and board burn/paint transfer over the right shoulder.
