The 36th overall pick at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Jeff Shantz, a product of the Regina Pats in the WHL, landed in the Windy City as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks and went on to play a total of 642 National Hockey League games in his career. A gold medalist at the 1993 IIHF World Junior Championships, offered here is this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Shantz during the 2000-01 season. The size tag indicates it is a size "54" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "KOHO" patch. The team patch on the inside hem states that this is a “2000-01 NHL Season Black Jersey #1 of 1”. The right shoulder/sleeve has numerous game marks, including five unrepaired board burns and two unrepaired cuts on the cuff. The left sleeve has a dozen or so game marks, including two unrepaired holes. The fight strap shows signs of some washing.
