Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction April 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/30/2024
A product of the Portland Winter Hawks in the WHL, Jason Wiemer was drafted in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1994, with time spent in Tampa Bay, Calgary, Florida, New York, Minnesota and New Jersey. We have a Flames jersey that was worn by the Kimberley BC native during the 2005-06 season. The size tag indicates it is a size "58" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. The MeiGray patch on the inside hem states "NHL game-worn jersey 2004-2005 season C02296" and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 2" example. The MeiGray LOA confirms that “this Third Set 2 jersey, affixed with the Calgary 25th Anniversary patch, was worn by #24 Jason Wiemer during the 2005-2006 National Hockey League regular season”. This game-worn Third Set 2 jersey does not have any noticeable game marks and is accompanied by a MeiGray LOA with the Authentication Program number C02296 matching the one on the jersey.
