A veteran of 183 National Hockey League games during his career after being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 3rd round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft, Craig Levie would never play for the team that drafted him, instead suiting up for the Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota North Stars, St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks over the course of six (6) years in the league. From a season that saw him register nineteen (19) points in thirty-seven (37) games played, offered here is this North Stars jersey worn by Levie during the 1983-84 campaign. A mesh construction offering made by Minnesota based company, Pedersons, a brand/washing instructions label is affixed to the inner collar of the jersey, which measures out to roughly a modern size "54" after quick check. Having had "Pedersons" embroidered in green thread into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a North Stars team crest in layered tackle twill while matching primary logo crests that are the same as what is on the front of the jersey have been added over both shoulders as well. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Levie's number "34" in drop-shadow green-over-yellow tackle twill numerals, "Levie" is spelt out in single layer green twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the back. Featuring a thin loop style fight strap on the interior, the jersey shows game-wear via light stick marks over the lower front and left sleeve, a team repair over the right sleeve, board burns over both sleeve, a green coloured board paint transfer over the reverse hem, a pair of unrepaired holes over the right sleeve and light pilling on the interior. Of note, a few small and light spot stains are observed throughout and the white is no longer bright from age and numerous washings.
