Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
A somewhat journeyman goaltender, Chris Mason spent time in Milwaukee, San Antonio, St. Louis, Atlanta, Winnipeg, Augsburg and Nashville during his career. This signed Predators jersey was worn by the Red Deer native in 2006-07, when he served as back-up in the Oct 5, 2006 opening night contest between the Preds and Chicago. “Goalie Style” with "60" size tagging is affixed to the collar with handwritten “30”, along with Reebok and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring a tackle twill team crest, "30" is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with alternate crests to each shoulder. Mason has signed the reverse "0" in marker, with some fading to the signature. Worn as back-up, the jersey shows no game use (there are a few small stains to the jersey). The team patch sits on the inside hem along with a MeiGray patch numbered "D03100", and according to the population report, the jersey is "Navy Promotional GI 10/5/06" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
